Oslo Comics Expo (OCX) takes place for the fourth time on May 28-29, 2010 in the comics library at Schous Plass in Grünerløkka in Oslo, and in the park outside. By having the festival outdoors, OCX aims to showcase great comic art to comic fans and bypassers alike, and this has proven to be a great success at previous festivals.
As before, there will be a marketplace for selling and buying comics, exhibitions, organized signings and on-stage interviews with a wide range of Norwegian and international comic artists.
Oslo Comics Expo features a wide array of guests from Norway and abroad, and you can get to know them better through on-stage interviews, debates, signings and lectures. There are also social events, like concerts and parties.
Guests at OCX 2010:
HÅVARD S. JOHANSEN
Admission to OCX is free, and the festival is open to everyone. Oslo Comics Expo is organized and executed by a group of dedicated volunteers consisting of comic artists, readers, writers and fans, as well as staff from the comic library in Oslo. Together we aim to show a diverse selection of what is going on in contemporary comics in Norway and abroad.
