We are completely awestruck that the legendary comic artist and designer Joost Swarte, one of this year’s OCX guests, has designed the poster for us. We think it is absolutely beautiful! And, as if that was not enough, he has also designed this year’s OCX t-shirt, which will be on sale from the info table in the marketplace during the festival

Swarte has made comics since the 60’s, and an extensive collection of his work was recently published in Norwegian. In addition to his artistic work, Swarte is also a renowned designer. In addition to graphic design, he has designed everything from furniture through stained glass windows to a whole theater in his home town of Haarlem in the Netherlands.

Joost Swarte will be interviewed by Matthias Wivel on Saturday, June 9 at 5 pm in the program tent, and the day before a sales exhibition of his poster work will open at Ballhaus.
